Intimate Cotswolds Barn | Sleeps 2 | Dog Friendly
INTRODUCTIONThis is an absolutely picture perfect converted barn, providing a romantic haven for any couple, a small family, or an individual hoping to find a quiet retreat, off the beaten track. It sleeps 2 (+1 – there is a very comfortable pull out sofa in the sitting room).
Keeper’s Barn is the ideal place to really discover peace, surrounded as it is with spectacular views and beautiful countryside. It really is tranquil and idyllic..
Deep within the heart of a working arable and dairy farm, Keeper’s is just a stone’s throw from Clover Barn, yet far enough away to ensure utter privacy.*
As with Clover Barn, it has been lovingly refurbished (and renamed.. It used to be under the gamekeeper’s watchful eye – hence ‘Keeper’s Barn) by The Countess Bathurst and is regularly on the receiving end of her little ‘finds’ – whether it’s a new rug or a pretty dish, there is always a place for a treasure to be added to make it even cosier.
Simply designed, and also dog friendly, it offers an intimate but airy space with every self-catering need provided for.
High ceilings and original exposed beams add to the cosy atmosphere, combining the old and new with effortless elegance.

KICHEN / LIVING / DINING
Very well equipped with electric hob and oven, dishwasher plus fridge. Other appliances include an electric whisk, electric kettle, cafetiere and barbecue implements, as well as plenty of cookware, china and kitchen utensils.
Has two very comfortable sofas, with one of them pulling out into an equally comfy sofa bed. There is TV and DVD player and the French doors look out towards the garden area, onto the beautiful countryside and fields beyond. 4GEE WiFi connection (basic browsing). The dining table can seat two (where we recently had a marriage proposal!) and there is an iPod dock as well.
Small, but perfectly formed with a double size bed, bedside tables, lovely lamps and a clock/radio/alarm (not that you will need one on holiday!) The bed is soft and the pillows plump. There is a wardrobe for storage and also a chest of drawers.
Has a comfortable bath, with overhead shower, WC and washbasin. Fluffy towels are provided.
Keeper's Barn Guest BookIt’s only natural that we’re going to ‘wax lyrical’ about how lovely the cottages are and of course we’re going to be positive, because we want you to fall in love with them! But there is nothing more powerful than the views of others, and so we thought you’d like to see what past visitors have said about their stay..
Over to our lovely guests...
